Bill Crowe started at Faith back in July, 2016, as a student “deferred vicar” (intern). Upon completing his vicarage year, the church called him to serve as our Associate Pastor.
Before entering the holy ministry, Bill worked for Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) in San Antonio as the Director of the Men’s Ministry and Information Technologies. That was truly a blessed time, one that can only be described as “such as this,” in which Bill was moved to go “all in” and head to seminary so that he could serve God’s people as a pastor.
Prior to that, however, Bill was an software architect and consultant, designing and delivering commercial solutions. He spent time in the not-for-profit sector revitalizing the approach to customer, donor, relationship, and ministerial data management. He also spent several years developing large scale distributed systems in the telecommunications and manufacturing industries. As the Chief Software Architect, he developed a massively scalable telephony grade in memory database (whatever that means).
Bill has a lovely wife, Beth, and two amazing children, Evie and Lawton. He received a Masters of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis, in 2016. He holds one United States patent and two additional patents applications, has published several articles in technical journals, and holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science with a concentration in electrical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. But most important of all, he is a baptized child of God.
Soli Deo Gloria! (To God be the Glory)
