Jonathan Loesch, Director of Christian Education (DCE), is the Director of Child and Family Ministries.
Jonathan was installed at Faith Lutheran Church in 2007. Previously he had served as Director of Christian Education at Lutheran congregations in Rancho Cucamonga, California (Shepherd of the Hills); Turlock, California (Good Shepherd); and Renton, Washington (King of Kings).
He has been blessed to be married to Tonya for thirty-seven years. Tonya is one of the Kindergarten teachers at Zion Lutheran School in Walburg. Jonathan & Tonya have three grown children, Bethany, Luke, and Hannah; two granddaughters (June & Rosie), and one grandson (Otto). Jonathan enjoys spending time with his family, as well playing golf, tennis and playing/watching various sports; and grilling on his Big Green Egg. Some other hobbies include photography, travel and trying to stay fit.
Jonathan’s focus of ministry at Faith is working with families, children (birth-5th grade), and parents. He works closely with the staff of the Nursery, Sunday School, Kids Clubs, Vacation Bible School, and Rock House. He also leads and serves with others in family servant events, adult education, fellowship & outreach events, and is the staff liaison to the boards of education, preschool, and fellowship.
