Adam Perez, Director of Music and Parish Administration / aperez@flcms.org

Adam was born on April 11, 1996 in Houston, Texas. As a multi-generational LCMS Lutheran, he was baptized in under a month from his birthday. During his formative years, Adam attended St. Mark Lutheran School in Conroe, Texas where his mother was principal. He was confirmed in 2010 by his Uncle, Reverend David Bailes at Living Savior Lutheran Church in Montgomery, Texas.

 

Later in life, Adam took a love for music ministry and would move on to study it at Concordia University Texas. During his time at Concordia, Adam interned with the music ministry team at Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball, Texas, and Faith Lutheran in Georgetown, Texas. Adam was mission and service-oriented throughout his undergrad years including involvement in homeless ministry in Austin, Texas and trips to both Alaska and Arizona. He was trained in classical and contemporary music at Concordia University Texas with a focus in percussion and a specialization in ministry.

 

Adam joined Faith Lutheran Church in 2019 as Campus Administrator after completing his internship at Faith for Director of Parish Music. In 2022, Adam was consecrated into ministry at Faith Lutheran Church as its Director of Music and Director of Administration where he serves as the Principal Organist, Choral Director, and Worship Leader.

 

Adam’s heart for bringing people together through the Word of God drives his love for musical diversity and his avid curiosity in different cultures. Adam and his wife Kassie live in Georgetown, Texas, where they continue their ministry to Know Christ, Live Christ and Make Christ Known.
