The PieceMakers Made the Newspaper
Columnist Linda Dwyer of The WIlliamson County Sun, featured Faith’s quilters, The Piecemakers” in her Nov. 26th column of “Out and About.” The article, “Warm Quilts and a Fine Feast,” told about Pearl Wheeler starting the group then passing the torch to Gert Schriner, then to Barbara Biells and Sherry Richter. Plus, about half the page was a photo of Faith’s Sanctuary with the quilts, similar to the one posted here. There are quotes from the group’s members and a bit of information about the group’s contributions to Lutheran World Relief and Isaiah 117 House. Congratulations to our ladies! You work is mostly done in secret and to the glory of God, but we are glad to let the community in on our best-kept secret.
