Faith’s 500
Each week, we average around 500 people who weekly engage our worship services. As we value Worship, Christian education, and Human Care, we are working to create measurable ways to help 500 people also weekly engage our Christian Education (currently around 175 people) and Human Care (currently around 150 people) activities. Project 500 will help our congregation as a whole embody and engage our strategic values, living out our mission statement to Know Christ, Live Christ, and Make Christ Known!

We currently average around 500 in worship each week. We measure worship attendance by counting attenders, by tracking communicants, and through our written and digital attendance cards.
We will enhance our worship engagement through two new midweek worship opportunities—Wednesday Evening Prayer and Thursday Preschool Chapel. Both will be congregational worship services with a short sermon and a consistent liturgical structure.

We currently average around 200 people in Christian Education each week. We measure Christian education attendance through sign-in sheets, preschool attendance records, and other counting mechanisms.
We will enhance our Christian education engagement through developing online educational opportunities, including weekly devotions for individuals and families. We will track engagement through downloads and through direct reporting (promoting the resources, asking for feedback, etc.)
We will also promote engagement in Christian education in an ongoing basis, challenging every worship attender at Faith to get involved in some sort of Christian education.

We currently average around 150 people involved in human care each week. Truthfully, it is likely more, but we don’t have consistent measures for this. We measure this through our various human care programs, through visitation records, and through other mechanisms.
We will enhance our human care engagement through developing practical and accessible methods of human care—even daily opportunities to bless those around us with our time, talents, and treasures.
We will also promote engagement in human care through storytelling, casting a vision for how human care can impact our community. We hope to do this storytelling through regular video offerings. We plan to challenge every worship attender at Faith to get involved in some sort of human care activity.
