In prayerful response to Governor Abbott’s decision to lift the mask mandate as of March 10, 2021 and while remembering that taking loving responsibility for others as well as yourself is a hallmark of Christian discipleship, Faith Lutheran Church’s in-person services will observe the following mask practices for the rest of March, beginning Sunday, March 14, 2021:
8:00am – All attendees are required to 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴.
9:30am – All attendees are required to 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴.
11:00am – 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 and the 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 of the sanctuary 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴; the side 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 will continue to be roped off 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴. All those who serve (pastors, greeters, etc.) will continue to wear face masks for the safety and comfort of those who are coming to the 11am service.
It is because of these reasons, and out of Christian love for each other, that we kindly ask you to continue to RSVP if you are planning on attending a service. We continue to have space issues at the 9:30 service, so please let us know if you are flexible in the event that we need to change your RSVP to a different time.
NOTE: Online Worship services will continue to be offered. There is no plan to phase out the online services. In fact, it is our prayer that online services will continue to reach new people and shine the light of Jesus into the lives of new believers around the world.
